The 2023 Award Categories

Building on the success of the 2022 awards we are delighted to bring back the following categories for another year.


Early Years Home Learning Product of the Year: The early years of a child's life, when they are under 4 years old, are fundamental to their growth and this category looks for the best digital learning products, designed to help them at this time.


Children’s Home Learning Product of the Year: This award celebrates the best digital learning products for children (4-18 years old) that help them learn at home.


Adult Home Learning Product of the Year: This award recognises the best digital learning products which are helping people over the age of 18 to get educated in a variety of areas, both common and niche.


Digital Language Learning Product of the Year: This award recognises the digital language learning products that help people across the world to learn

a language, regardless of prior skill.


SEND Learning Product of the Year: This award recognises the best learning products, specifically for people who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).


Digital Health and Wellbeing Learning Product of the Year: This category celebrates the companies in Digital Health and Wellbeing.


STEAM Learning Product of the Year: This award recognises science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) learning products that provide students with the skills to think critically and analyze problems.


Digital Classroom Aid of the Year: This award discovers the best digital products that are helping teachers and students of all ages to work more efficiently in the classroom.


Digital Education Institution of the Year: This category celebrates the institutions that are harnessing digital education to provide quality education and lifelong learning in the best ways possible.


Digital Education Team of the Year: This award seeks to identify the best team who are developing and innovating digital education products, platforms and/or software.


Digital Education Start-Up of the Year: This category celebrates the best start-up companies in the digital education area. It’s only for companies that have been established for under three years.


Business Education Learning Product of the Year: This award discovers the best products for business education learning, which are helping employed and unemployed people, and also helping companies who would like to train their employees.


Digital Teacher of the Year: This category recognises the best individual who is harnessing the power of technology to deliver outstanding education.


New Digital Course of the Year: This award celebrates digital courses which have started as of January 1st, 2022.


Digital Arts Education Product of the Year: This award discovers the best digital arts education products that are helping teachers and students of all ages to be creative.


Digital Education Awards Gold Award: The Digital Education Awards Gold Award returns for 2023. This award is chosen by our judges from the other nominees, and cannot be entered.
