Celebrating Our Judges: Spotlight on Thomas Lange
Welcome to our special series honoring the remarkable individuals who make up the Digital Education Awards Judges Panel.
This week, we’re delighted to shine a light on Thomas Lange, a highly respected Project Manager and Educational Consultant whose dedication to digital transformation in schools has made a lasting impact on the education sector.
With over two decades of leadership experience in schools, Thomas has been at the forefront of integrating technology into teaching and learning. Now based in Germany, he supports EdTech initiatives across schools, school groups, and councils, helping to shape future-ready learning environments. He currently serves as Project Manager of the Digital Learning Campus in Lübeck, where he continues to lead pioneering work that empowers educators and students alike.
Thomas’s work has earned national recognition. His previous school was named a Microsoft Showcase School for four consecutive years, with all staff achieving Microsoft Innovative Educator status under his leadership. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and workshops and is known for sharing practical insights on topics including AI in education, assistive technology, and inclusive learning strategies.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, the Chartered College of Teaching, and a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Educators. Thomas brings a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for educational innovation to our judging panel.
