As part of our special series celebrating the outstanding individuals on the Digital Education Awards Judges Panel, today we are proud to spotlight Sephora Markson, a purpose-driven leader of growth, impact, and transformation and a passionate advocate for lifelong learning.
Sephora brings nearly 15 years of experience in higher education, online learning, and strategic innovation. During her tenure in executive leadership at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA, she spearheaded the creation of GTUx, an award-winning global digital learning platform. She has also held key roles at The New School in New York and continues to consult in the education space, driving transformational learning and mission-aligned growth.
Currently pursuing a doctorate in psychology and somatics, Sephora’s work spans education, healing, and service. She serves as a strategic advisor to Kosmos Institute, an online school dedicated to myth, meaning, and personal transformation, and contributes to the Harmony Center for Whole Being in the Bay Area, where she nurtures a vibrant wellness community.
Through her unique blend of scholarship, strategy, and soulful service, Sephora brings to our judging panel an inspiring commitment to personal and collective transformation. Her perspective ensures that innovation in digital education is always grounded in purpose, impact, and humanity.
